Bahrain takes part, with the rest of the world, in the international decade for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals; the framework quotes SDG target 4.7: ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development.

All 17 goals have a lesson plan in each of these age bands. For example:
