Water stories for children

Water is the easiest goal to start with, because every child meets it every day: at a tap, from a bucket, in a river or at the edge of the sea. In The Water Man, Rajendra Singh arrives in Kishori, an Indian village where the rivers have been dry for decades. Glasses to Another World puts on a pair of diving glasses and drops below the surface into a world that is silent, blue and more fragile than it looks. Together they cover both halves of the water story: the water we drink and the water that most of the planet's life lives in. The guides add a simple experiment and questions for each age band.
