Version 1.0 · Effective 23 October 2026. This page gives the information required by article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE). In Spanish it is called the Aviso legal.

The company also runs the Eco Heroes Academy (learn.eco-heroes.org) and the VSME assessment (assessment.eco-heroes.org), which have their own legal notices.
2. What we do
Eco Heroes teaches the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals to children and young people through picture books, games, trivia and teaching materials. We sell family subscriptions to consumers and licences to schools, companies and hotels.
3. Rules for using the site
Using this website and the app is governed by our Terms of Service. Licences for organisations are governed by our Licence Terms for Schools and Organisations. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice and Children's Privacy Notice.
4. Intellectual property
The books, games, questions, texts, illustrations, videos, software and the Eco Heroes name and logo are protected by intellectual property law. They belong to Eco Heroes International SL or to its licensors. You may use them only as our terms allow. Copying, distributing, publicly communicating or changing them in any other way needs our written permission, unless the law allows it.
5. Links to other websites
Some pages link to websites run by others. We choose these links with care, but we do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content. If you tell us that a linked page is unlawful, we remove the link without delay.
6. Contact point for users and authorities
Our single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act, for users and for authorities, is info@eco-heroes.org. You can write to us in any of the 13 languages of the site. We answer in English, Spanish or Catalan, or in your language with the help of translation. To report content you think is illegal, use that address or the "Report" link on the trivia leaderboard; section 9 of the Terms of Service explains what happens next.
7. Complaints and authorities
- Complaints: write to info@eco-heroes.org. We answer within one month at the latest. Official complaint forms are available on request.
- Consumer protection: the consumer authority where you live; in Catalonia, the Agència Catalana del Consum (consum.gencat.cat).
- Data protection: the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
8. Law
This website is governed by Spanish law. Section 18 of the Terms of Service explains which courts are competent; consumers keep the protection of the law of the country where they live.
