We hear this often, and it's a fair question. Most hotels we talk to don't buy Eco Heroes because of ESG — they buy it because their kids' club needs fresh content, their guest reviews mention 'not much for the children', or they're competing with a family resort down the road. The ESG reporting is a free side-effect: once families are using the platform during their stay, completion data becomes exportable for your sustainability report at no extra cost. The first buying reason is almost always guest experience. ESG is just the proof point when procurement later asks 'what did we get for this investment?'
That's the most important question to ask, and the answer starts with being honest about why these things usually fail in hospitality. Three patterns: products that require staff to write their own content (nobody has time), products that require guests to download an app (guests don't), and products built for schools that get awkwardly repurposed for hotels (wrong audience, wrong session length, wrong tone). Eco Heroes was built the opposite way. Content is ready — 17 SDG modules, 850+ quiz questions, 119 illustrated stories written by award-winning Spanish children's authors. Coordinators read a story and run a quiz; no curriculum writing. Guests scan a QR code on their own phone; no app to download. No technical installation, no app distribution, no integration work on your IT team's side.
The 100 guest seat plan fits most boutique and mid-sized hotels comfortably. For larger properties — multi-hundred rooms, multiple kids' clubs, family resort chains — we build custom sizing into your quote during the discovery call. Tell us your typical peak-season occupancy and we'll structure the right plan without penalty pricing or overage fees.
The platform exports completion data, certificate counts, hours of sustainability education delivered to guests and staff, and language distribution. Exports are available on demand as CSV or PDF at no extra cost. The data is formatted for inclusion in your annual sustainability or ESG report — it slots naturally into the 'guest engagement' and 'capacity building' sections that most reporting frameworks expect. If your hotel group reports against a specific framework, we can discuss custom exports during the discovery call.
Annual contracts run for the full committed 12-month term. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time with 30 days' written notice before the renewal date; access continues through the end of the paid term. No refunds are issued for partial or unused periods.
