What is Casa Abril?
Casa Abril is a sustainable and inclusive refuge located in the heart of nature, designed for children and older people. This project uses eco-friendly structures, such as repurposed shipping containers, to create an environment where music, sports, and education come together to promote intergenerational well-being and learning.
Objectives of the project?
Music and education
- Choir for older adults: Choral singing workshops for older adults, focusing on popular songs and appropriate vocal techniques.
- Guitar ensemble for children and teenagers: Teaching basic guitar techniques and introduction to group playing for young people with ADHD.
Sports and wellness
- Aquatic activities: Dedicated spaces for aquatic therapies and activities.
- Judo for children and teenagers: Judo program to promote discipline, concentration, and physical health.
Eco-friendly structure
- Sustainable construction: Use of recycled shipping containers to create a functional and environmentally friendly space.
- Green spaces: Gardens and outdoor spaces for outdoor activities and connection with nature.
